“I’m sorry it’s okay I’m here”

, He whispers

Once again he’s sprung this hope in me
That we will be happy be young and be free
Like merry lovebirds like wild mating flowers
Like the tall strong trees which go on forever
He’s gave a new birth to the whole of my earth
I’ve been reborn from the ashes the trashes the clashes
For we’re one and the same he’s sorry he’s right
It’s now all okay we are in love tonight

But now oh today why do his hands so fly
Hard across my face with those fists of a knave
I’m left thrashing and shrieking and crying in pain
My head splits in two and my heart wails in vain
As purple spots bloom around my eyes
Along my lines and beneath what’s a lie
He turns back. And crumbles to the floor, on his knees.
“I’m sorry” he says and tears well up in his eyes

...

“It’s okay I’m here”
